Pooja Kumar
Founder & CEOPooja has 18+ years’ experience in corporate talent acquisition both on the client and talent advisory side. She started her career in Corporate Communications, Business Development and Consulting and has held progressively responsible positions in IBM Global Business Process Services and Bharti Airtel. Pooja’s last assignment was with Korn/Ferry FutureStep and she is currently leading pan-India operations for Carpe Diem Resourcing which is a boutique executive search firm focused on leadership hiring across sectors (founded in 2013). An alumnus of Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai (Post Graduation in Communications) and Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia (MBA), she is also an avid trekker, voracious reader and a student of Indian Classical Dance (Odissi & Bharatnatyam).
Pooja’s core belief is that ‘Santulan’ (Balance) is essential in becoming the best version of ourself and her life journey has led her towards Coaching. She is also a yoga practitioner and feels that there is yoga in everything that is done mindfully and with awareness. Her professional as well as personal journey has led her to interact with leaders across sectors and which has led to many learnings for her.
Pooja believes that a person needs to be viewed holistically and feels that separating the personal from the professional is a defunct concept. She finds joy in adding value by conversing with people and helping them find their own answers.
Pooja is an observer and has been a student of kinetics (movement) for most of her life and feels that what is not said is more often than not more important than what is. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures across the world and is deeply interested in how humans approach living in various geographies.
